Copying User Custom files – Moving to a new computer

The old computer does not have the latest version of MetaStock installed. Please uninstall MetaStock and install the latest version to make sure it is up to date before using it again from the my Downloads page.

Then backup the user files on the first computer.
Go to File > Backup User Files with no charts open.
Select the location to backup the files such as a usb drive.
The backup will create a zipped folder containing two folders, MetaStock and 17.0.

Install and run MetaStock at least one time on the new computer.
Close MetaStock.
Copy the two folders to replace the two folders below.
\\Documents\MetaStock
c:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Innovative Market Analysis\MetaStock\17.0
